Jamshedpur, Sept 2: The bhumi pujan ceremony of Golmuri Durga Puja Committee was organized at Circus Maidan, Golmuri, on Monday. It was performed in the presence of district BJP president Dinesh Kumar, Probir Chatterjee Rana, Mohan Lal Agrawal and other party leaders.
Rana, who is also the committee patron, said the committee had been organizing the puja since 1926. This year an imaginary pandal is being constructed, he said, adding further that CCTV cameras would be installed in all pandals.
Others present on the occasion included Kamal Agrawal, Gautam Kumar, Bablu Sharma, Shinde Singh, Amish Agrawal and Hemant Agrawal.
