Jamshedpur: A bhumi pujan ceremony was held at Road Number 4 in Bagbera Housing Colony on Sunday to pave way for Durga Puja preparations. It took place in the presence of the main patrons of the committee Sanjay Mishra, Ajay Singh and Pawan Ojha.
According to Ajay Singh, this year a famous Buddhist temple of Bhutan has been picked as a model for the puja pandal. A new committee has been formed for organizing the puja.
Others present on the occasion included district BJP spokesperson Ankit Anand, Appu Tiwary, Ramnath Dubey, Uday Mishra, Sikku Sharma, Babamuni Hembram and Jharna Mishra.
