Bhuiyandih Park inaugurated

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel vice president (corporate services) Sunil Bhaskaran today inaugurated Bhuiyandih Park at Bhuiyandih.

The inaugural function was attended by Raghunath Pandey, president, Jusco Shramik Union (JSU), Ashish Mathur, MD, Jusco, Senior Leadership Team from Tata Steel and Jusco and representatives from JSU S L Das, B B Thakur, Lal and others. Many residents of the area were present to witness the inauguration of the park.

The land used to develop the park was earlier used as a dumping ground for municipal waste with cow dung, encroachment and unhealthy environment. The garbage was removed from the place with the help of local residents.

Encroachment on the land was also removed. It was decided to develop the ground into a park to prevent further encroachment of the land.

The total area of the park is approx. four acres with various facilities for both old and young.
