Bharat Ratna rightly conferred on Advani for dedication to principles and policies: Saryu Roy

Jamshedpur, Feb 3: Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy expressed pride in the policy and principles-driven approach of L.K. Advani, stating that the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor, has been rightly conferred not only for his role in shaping the Ram Mandir but also for his unwavering commitment to principles. “In 1984, when the Bharatiya Janata Party had only two members in Parliament, Advani gained recognition for his stand on the Shah Bano case, emphasizing secular values. Throughout his life, Advani has never compromised on policy and principles. Thus, the Bharat Ratna should be awarded not just for the Ram Mandir but also for his dedication to principles and policies,” Saryu Roy emphasized.
