Ghatsila: Bharat bandh had partial impact on normal life in Ghatsila on Tuesday. Most of the shops remained open throughout the day. However, shops at Maubhandar Chowk and Ghatsila main market were closed. Passenger vehicles too, remained off road. As a result, passengers had to wait endlessly for vehicles. In view of the bandh, police had made elaborate security arrangements. Police patrolled sensitive areas.
