Jamshedpur, Nov. 17: Bhagwat Katha started at Kalikapur village under Potka block on Thursday, November 17.
At the religious programme which will continue saw Pandit Pavan Krishna Shastri from Mathura heading the kalash yatra on day 1 of the event.
Children and women in large number participated in the kalash yatra.
Organiser of the religious programme Srikrishna Anuragi Bhakt Samiti including Tarni Sen Das, Vishnu Pado Bhakt, Samir Kumar Bhakt, Rajnikant Das, Debashish Bhakta, Amiya Ranjan Bhakta, Somen Kumar, Pramod Das and villagers in large numbers participated in the Kalash Yatra.
Later in the day, Pandit Pavan Krishna Shastri recited the bhajans which made the atmosphere of Kalikapur village devout.
