Seraikela: The deputy development commissioner (DDC) of Seraikela-Kharsawan Akansha Ranjan on Saturday reviewed various development schemes being run in the district and directed all block development officers (BDOs) to conduct a survey of villages for open defecation free (ODF) and other goals set by the government.
She said the survey should be completed within two weeks.
Addressing the meeting, the DDC, who is in charge of the DC office, said all pending development projects should be completed before rains. She also directed the officials to make arrangements for drinking water in remote rural areas of the district.
The DDC said the senior officials of all blocks should visit their areas in every 15 days so that the goal of making all villages ODF is achieved.
