Jamshedpur, March 16: Dhalbhumgarh Block Development Officer (BDO)-cum-Child Development Project Officer, Savita Toppo, conducted an inspection to ascertain the status of houses sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) in various villages under Jugishol Panchayat in Dhalbhumgarh block of East Singhbhum district. During her inspection, the Dhalbhumgarh BDO was irked on finding many such houses in various stages of incompletion and warned the beneficiaries concerned to get their houses completed posthaste. She gauged that the money against the cost of construction paid to PMAY beneficiaries had been diverted for other purposes. Panchayat Mukhiya Champa Rani Murmu, ward member, Panchayat Secretary, Block Coordinator and volunteers were present during BDO Savita Toppo’s inspection tour.
