Noamundi, August 2: Block Development Officer Amren Dang called a block level bankers committee meeting on the premises of Noamundi Block on Saturday.
The meeting aimed at achieving the target of credit for the benefit of people at large.
He asked the bank officers to conduct camps at various places of Noamundi Block for the people & explain them about the Pradhan Mantri Jivan Bima, Pradhan Mantri Surksha Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna and the increase in the number of KCC in the villages by opening bank accounts.
Block provided the bank officers the scheduled dates of camps to be held between August 4 and August 6. The meeting was attended by officials from State Bank of India Khadajamda, Kerala Bank Pokhorpi, State bank Badajmda, State bank Birsa nagar, Bank of Baroda Diriburu and Jharkhand Grameen Bank Noagoan.
BDO directed the Panchayat sevak, Jan sevak, Rojgar sevak, Kisaan Mitra and Angan Bari sevika to reach out to maximum villages.
The meeting was attended by Block agriculture officer Subodh Pramanik, Cooperative extension officer Suman Singh, Block welfare officer Rabindra Singh Dev, Bank officer Jambira Birua and many other officials from the block.
