Jamshedpur, Nov 19: In its endeavor to encourage young volleyball players, Urban Services, Tata Steel organized an Inter Bustee Volleyball Tournament at Bagunhatu Football Ground, Jamshedpur.
The tournament served as a platform for 10 teams namely Agrico, T.S Baridih, Bhalubasa, Kalindi Bustee, Worker’s Flat, Gwala Bustee, Aryan Boy’s Club, New Ekta Boy’s Club, Bhuyandih and Kalindi Bustee, Bhalubasa.
Team Baridih was crowned the champion while Balley Complex, Bhuiyadih was the runners-up for the event. M C Sadhu, Head CRM Bara was the Chief Guest for the event.
Mr Sadhu lauded the effort of Urban Services in organizing such events which goes a long way in creating effective community engagement and also provides a platform for the budding sports persons from the nearby area.
Mr Sadhu congratulated all the participants, who wholeheartedly participated in the event and exhibited their exemplary sporting skills. He further praised them for playing the sports in the right spirit.
