Jamshedpur, July 23: BJP general secretary of Ulidih unit Pravin Singh, in a press communiqu has taunted Congress leader and former minister Banna Gupta with the observation, He remembers the people of his Vidhan Sabha constituency only when elections are at hand. He has been hibernating through these four and half years oblivious of the people and their problems. But now he has woken up with the State elections knocking at the door and reaching out to the people of his constituency.
Attacking the Congress leader further, Pravin Singh further stated that Banna Gupta, through these four and half years had been trying to seek his terra-firma on BJP territory and is yet unsure of the party which he would choose to contest the Vidhan Sabha elections. All through this phase Banna Gupta has not cared to meet the people nor take note of their problems nor take steps towards their amelioration. He is like the monsoon frog which comes out when it rains and croaks. His sudden activities are just eyewash, stated the BJP Ulidih unit general secretary.
Pravin Singh pointed out that in sharp contrast, the current legislator from the Jamshedpur West constituency and Jharkhand Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy has been working effectively for the people that has won him all round praise and confidence of the people. He said that the BJP Ulidih unit of the party will conduct a door-to-door campaign for Saryu Roy and ensure a heavy margin of victory at the state hustings.
