Banna Gupta files nomination amid massive crowd in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: In a show of strength, Congress candidate and health minister Banna Gupta filed his nomination for the Jamshedpur West constituency amid thousands of supporters. The event, held at the Aambagan Grounds in Sakchi, witnessed an enormous turnout, marking a grand beginning to Gupta’s campaign for the upcoming assembly elections.

The day began with Gupta seeking blessings from elders at his Kadma residence before heading to the Rankini Temple for a special prayer. After the temple visit, a massive procession of supporters led Gupta to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Jamshedpur. Walking amidst throngs of cheering supporters, Gupta greeted the public while making his way to file his papers.

As he reached the DC Office, Gupta was welcomed by party workers who had gathered to show their support. After completing the formalities of the nomination process, Gupta emerged from the office to loud applause and cheers from his followers.

He then proceeded to Aambagan Grounds, where a sea of supporters awaited him for a rally. Addressing the massive crowd, Gupta expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support he had received over the past five years. “I have always been among the people, and it is your blessings that have made me a legislator and minister,” Gupta said, reaffirming his commitment to the constituency.

In his speech, Gupta also took aim at his political opponents, claiming that they were only interested in their personal gains. He criticized rival candidates, saying, “There are candidates who come and go, shifting from one place to another, only to contest from here again. But the people have seen through their tactics, and this time, they will not support them.”

Confident of victory, Gupta added, “The people will bless me for the hard work I have done over the last five years. They know who has truly worked for their benefit.”
