Jamshedpur, August 24: Jharkhand Assembly elections round the corner, Congress MLA from Jamshedpur West, Banna Gupta has started the poll preparations in grand style. On Sunday Banna organized a working committee conference at Picnic Spot in Jubilee Park.
On the occasion around 5000 supporters of him were present who were brought in by bus, tempo and other vehicles. At the event a picnic style occasion was created as all the supporters and working committee members were provided with lunch at the venue were his supporters enjoyed every bit of it.
Banna while addressing the crowd provoked the opposition leaders and challenged BJP leader Saryu Rai and said if he has the power to bring in the amount of crowd he has brought in on Sunday. Banna challenging Saryu said the latter is only involved in politics of religion.
MLA said that this is just the start before the war and the crowd present here be it women, children, men, young shows that Congress in never involved in politics of religion. Accusing BJP Banna said that the saffron party is only involved in creating wrong atmosphere and it is only behind the communal riots all over the country.
Banna further said that Congress is always working for the unity of the country. Slamming Saryu, MLA said that BJP leader should be ready with his Lotus as I am already in the field with my claw. Banna said if he wins for the second time will make Mango just like Bistupur.
At the event workers leader Rakeshwar Pandey, Congress District President Vijay Khan, Telco Workers Union General Secretary Chandrabhan Singh, Ramashray Prasad, Ashok Choudhary, Rajesh Shukla, Rakesh Tiwary, Manoj Jha, Rajesh Singh, SR Razvi Chabban, Brajesh Singh, Jammi Bhaskar, Baldev Singh, Usha Singh, Buddhev Giri along with other party leaders and a large crowd was present.
