Jamshedpur, July 11: Former legislator and Congress leader Banna Gupta condemned the incident of firing on Dr SK Kundu of MGM Hospital. He said the incident was ample proof of �deteriorating� law and order situation in the state.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, Gupta said the incident of firing on a doctor was highly condemnable since it exposed the poor law and order machinery in the city. He said the police should provide foolproof security to the doctor and catch the culprits as soon as possible.
Guta said the city police should tighten noose around criminals and ensure peace for one and all. He said such incidents demoralized the peace-loving citizens.
