Jamshedpur, Dec 2: As part of Kisan Pakhwada, Bank of Baroda organized a mega loan disbursement camp on December 2, 2024, aimed at fostering self-reliance among the rural community in Chakulia block. During the event, loan sanction letters totalling Rs. 7.50 crore were distributed to 141 self-help groups, benefiting over 1400 individuals. The Chief Guest, Shri Shiv Pad Nayak, Deputy General Manager of Business Development for Bhubaneswar Zone, handed over the loan letters. BPM Madam from JSLPS, Manisha Liyangi, was also present at the event.
The initiative was coordinated with six branches from the Jamshedpur region, including Chakulia, Ghatshila, Galudih, Hullung, Bardikanpur, and Jadugoda. Manish Prakash Sinha, Regional Head of Bank of Baroda’s Jamshedpur Region, along with other officials and branch heads, including Amit Leo Minj, Ladura Sundi, Alok Mishra, Om Prakash Vibhuti, Radhanath Baski, and Ankur Kumar, were also in attendance to ensure the success of the program.
