Jamshedpur, Jan 20: The Bank of Baroda Regional Office, Bistupur, organized a special camp in the Bistupur market today to facilitate the exchange of old and torn currency notes for new ones. The initiative aimed to assist local traders and residents in accordance with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Deputy Regional Head of Bank of Baroda, Sunil Kumar Saha, emphasized the importance of the camp, stating, “This initiative is part of our commitment to providing seamless banking services to the community. The camp was organized to ensure that people could easily exchange damaged notes and continue their financial transactions without disruptions.”
The event witnessed significant participation, with a large number of traders and market-goers queuing up to exchange their old notes for fresh currency. Attendees expressed satisfaction with the quick and efficient service provided by the bank officials.
The camp was held under the supervision of Tarun Kumar Dutta, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to RBI protocols. Bank officials managed the process meticulously, addressing queries and ensuring that participants had a hassle-free experience.
