Bank of India wins cricket tourney

Jamshedpur, March 13: Like previous year, Shriman Classes organized a cricket match for its students at Armoury Ground in Bistupur on Sunday.

The sporting event which saw participation of eight teams was inaugurated by international boxer Aruna Mishra.

Semifinal was played between SBI and Bank of India and final was played between Bank of India and Bank of Baroda.

After intense battle, Bank of India was crowned the winner while Bank of Baroda was the runner-up. Prem Mishra was elected the man of the series while Shatrudhan Dubey was the man of the match.

Father David Vincent, principal of St. Mary�s English School, Rajkumar Singh, Zila Parishad deputy chairperson and Zila Parishad member Sudipto Dey gave the prizes to the winners and runner-up.

Cash 1000 award was given to Shatrudhan Dubey, the man of the match by Shriman Classes teacher Satyendra Prasad.
