Bandh peters out since noon

Jamshedpur, Dec 8: The Bharat Bandh effect petered out since afternoon as no Farm Bills protesters were seen moving around. NH 33 gradually came to life as heavy vehicles and cars were seen moving towards Ranchi and Ghatshila. The highway was sans traffic since 6 am on Tuesday.

In the afternoon some buses at the Mango terminus were seen beckoning passengers for Ranchi. While bigger shops remained closed footpath vendors started make their appearances and by sunset vegetable vendors were in business as were other street sellers.
