Gamharia: Bandana Parv was celebrated in a grand manner by members of Sarvajanik Shamshan Kali Puja Committee, Chhota Gamharia.
The chief guest of the programme was the state tribal welfare and transport minister Champai Soren. He said the festival was closely linked with the cultural heritage of the state and its people.
Many people had gathered under the Saal tree during the worship. The minister too, danced to the tune of tribal music.
