Seraikela : Nagar Panchayat executive officer Rajiv Ranjan said that the construction work of the new sub-divisional office building being built by demolishing the old Deputy Commissioner office in Ward 10 has been stopped. The Executive Engineer of the building division has been made aware that it is illegal to conduct any kind of private and government building work under the municipality area without passing the map and without permission.
According to the Jharkhand Municipality Act 2011, it is mandatory to pass the permission and map from the municipal body for the construction of the building. But the map related to the above building has not been passed nor permission has been obtained by the Executive Engineer Building Division.
Permission is also required to demolish the old building but permission has not been taken. The online map is passed by the licensed technical person registered in the said Nagar Panchayat Saraikela.
The said building construction department should start the construction work only after passing the map from Nagar Panchayat Saraikela. In this regard, directions have been given from the department through video conferencing in the Nagar Panchayat office. Apart from this, information has been sought from the video conference regarding the fourth component under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihood Mission.
