Balmuchu to meet Sonia against alliance

Jamshedpur: Rajya Sabha MP and former state Congress president Pradip Kumar Balmuchu today iterated his demand for not contesting the Assembly election under the leadership of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

He said he would be taking up the issue and raising his demand before the Congress high-ups including AICC president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Monday.

He was speaking to scribes on the Assembly poll alliance between the Congress and the JMM on Friday after meeting governor Dr Syed Ahmad.

He said the leadership of JMM could not be accepted under any given circumstances. He said he completely disagreed with the state Congress in-charge BK Hariprasad on the issue of contesting the election along with JMM.
