Jamshedpur: Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Pradip Kumar Balmuchu today criticized Chief Minister Raghubar Das for not visiting the household of late Anita Besra, whose body was found in a drain in Sidhgora police station area a day before.
He alleged that the CM could not find time to visit the household of the tribal woman who was reportedly raped and murdered in the Assembly constituency of the CM. “A tribal woman was killed in the CM’s own constituency. Despite being in the city, the CM did not visit the victim’s house. This is unfortunate,” said Balmuchu.
The Congress leader visited the house of the deceased and expressed sympathy with her family members. He said he will do his best to ensure that Anita’s killers are arrested and brought to justice.
Cops recovered the body of Anita Besra, a bank employee, from a nullah in Sidhgora near Vijaya Gardens.
An investigation is on to detect the case.
