Balaji Brahmotsav begins with Suprabhat Seva in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The Brahmotsav celebrations began with great devotion at the Balaji Temple on the first day of the festival. The day started with Suprabhat Seva performed at 6:00 am. In the evening, Lord Balaji was seated on the Chandprabha Vahan and taken on a city procession.

During the procession, the entire route echoed with the sound of fireworks and the traditional Kolatham musical performance by devotees. At several places along the route, aarti was performed and devotees gathered in large numbers to take darshan and offer prayers.

After completing the city tour, Lord Balaji was brought back to the temple premises and reinstalled at the sanctum according to Vedic rituals. Prasad was later distributed among the devotees.

Several members including Kamala Sharma, R.Y. Yan Raju, R. Prabhakar Rao, Mukund Rao, Ravi Kiran, Ravi Ramachandran, Narasimha Rao, D. Ramu, Yashoda Soni, Pramila, Rani, Bhanu, Padma and Santosh Rao played an important role in organising the event.
