Jadugora: The possession of the newly-built Jaherthan (sacred place of worship of the tribal people) was handed to the residents of Talsa village by Uranium Corporation of India Limited on Sunday.
Baha Boga festival was also celebrated at the Jaherthan which was constructed at a cost of Rs 14 lakh. Many UCIL authorities and villagers were present on the occasion.
They included additional manager of UCIL Girish Gupta, Desh Pargnana Baiju Murmu, Ram Chandra Murmu, Dashmat Hansda, Durga Charan Murmu, Vakil Hembram and Ram Chandra Tudu.
