Jamshedpur: In a fervent display of political fervor, an electrifying election rally was organized in support of BJP candidate Geeta Koda in Rajnagar of the district. The rally, marked by fiery speeches and impassioned rhetoric, saw BJP state president and former Chief Minister of the state, Babulal Marandi, launch scathing attacks on Chief Minister Champai Soren and the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government.

Amidst the sweltering heat, Babulal Marandi accused Chief Minister Champai Soren of obstructing the development of the region, alleging that even basic amenities like water were withheld from attendees on the instructions of the Chief Minister. He lamented the lack of progress in the Chief Minister’s home district, asserting that the JMM government’s policies have failed to uplift the area from its current state of underdevelopment.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Babulal Marandi extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives, including the PM housing scheme, Ujjwala Gas Scheme, Ayushman cards, and the Nal-Jal Yojana. He emphasized the transformative impact of these schemes on the lives of millions across the country, accusing the JMM government of deliberately undermining their implementation in Jharkhand.

Echoing Marandi’s sentiments, BJP candidate Geeta Koda expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects in Singhbhum, buoyed by the Modi government’s decade-long commitment to development. She criticized the JMM government for allegedly neglecting the welfare of tribal communities, particularly in education and healthcare, and called upon voters to deliver a resounding mandate in favor of the BJP in the upcoming elections.

The rally witnessed a surge in BJP’s support, with a significant number of youth joining the party ranks, many of whom defected from the JMM. Prominent party leaders, including BJP district president Uday Singh Dev, former MLA Arvind Singh, and Lok Sabha in-charge Subodh Singh Guddu, were present, underscoring the party’s unity and determination to secure victory in the forthcoming polls.

As the political landscape heats up ahead of the elections, the BJP rally in Rajnagar serves as a rallying cry for change and a testament to the fervent aspirations of the electorate for progress and development.
