JIMSH–SIMS Partnership Brings Superspecialty Care to Mango
Jamshedpur, Nov 16: Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Science and Hospital (JIMSH) and SIMS Hospital have entered into a new partnership to strengthen healthcare facilities in Eastern India. Marking this collaboration, the JIMSH Information Center and Outreach Clinic were inaugurated in Jamshedpur on Sunday. With this initiative, patients in the region will gain easier access to superspecialty healthcare services. JIMSH will also provide treatment under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, ensuring affordable care for economically weaker patients.
Jharkhand Minority Commission Chairman Hidayatullah Khan attended the inauguration as the chief guest. He was joined by JIMSH Chairman Krishna Kumar Gupta, SIMS Hospital Proprietor Rahmat Saeed Khan, and city’s well-known cardiologist Dr. N.K. Das. The program began with multi-specialty health camp offering free consultations, diagnostic checkups, and medical awareness services. A significant number of people benefitted from the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Kumar Gupta said setting up this center in Jamshedpur is a proud milestone and will help bring advanced healthcare closer to people. “Through this center, patients will get direct access to over 26 superspecialty services,” he said. Doctors from JIMSH will regularly visit Jamshedpur so patients can receive timely medical advice without needing to travel far.
JIMSH Hospital, located in Budge Budge, Buita, Kolkata, is a NABH-accredited medical college and multispecialty hospital equipped with modern diagnostic tools, advanced treatment facilities, and a team of more than 300 specialist doctors.
The collaboration between JIMSH and SIMS Hospital is expected to significantly strengthen Jharkhand’s healthcare services, providing world-class medical facilities to patients in their own city and improving access to essential treatment options for all.
