Jamshedpur, Aug. 4: Central Board of Secondary Education wants to raise awareness among students and local community regarding violation of child rights.
Keeping this in view, SDSM School for Excellence observed the World Day Against Child Labor was organized on Thursday, August 4 at the school premises.
The school organized a nukkad natak by the students with the theme ‘Human Rights and Social Justice for Child Worker.’ In the front of the school assembly, students enacted the harassment of the children engaged like child labor.
The school was selected two projects – a nukkad natak and ‘Literacy Project of Child Workers’ with the help of some students and teachers.
Vice-principal Ragini Singh motivated the students and the event was guided by the social science coordinator P. Lakshmi Padmawati.
