Jadugora: An awareness camp was organized in Bhatin village of Jadugora on Monday to inform local villagers about the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
It was held in the office of Aradhya Indane Gas Agency at Murmu Complex.
As many as 100 women submitted forms to avail the benefits of the said scheme. The agency manager Avinash said a total of 850 poor women had been provided LPG cylinders.
In the coming days, around 5000 more such women would be provided the benefit, he said.
The camp was also attended by the former Mukhiya of Bhatin panchayat Khela Ram Murmu and retired SDO Dinesh Singh.
