Awaiting Apex Court decision on Ram Mandir: Arjun Munda

Jamshedpur: Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda Tuesday said the Central government will bring an ordinance, if needed, to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya. Since the matter is being heard by the Supreme Court, the party is waiting for the verdict.

Munda, speaking to scribes after inaugurating a Kali Puja pandal at MIG Colony in Adityapur, said the BJP was sure to win elections in Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Several teams from Jharkhand have gone to Chhatisgarh for campaigning, he said.

Munda distributed blankets among 500 poor people on the occasion. He felicitated several people including social activist RP Singh, Congress spokesperson for Kolhan Suresh Dhari and the deputy superintendent of MGM Hospital Dr Nakul Choudhary.

The puja committee general secretary Santosh Gupta was given Rs 51,000 for treatment. Many dignitaries were present on the occasion. They included Tata Workers Union president R Ravi Prasad, Mayor Vinod Kumar Srivastava, state BJP spokesperson Rajesh Shukla, social worker RK Sinha, Intuc leader Arvind Pandey, SN Thakur, Uday Deo Singh and Amrita Choudhary.
