Jamshedpur, August 29: Avtar Singh from Jharkhand received prestigious Dr Rajender Prasad Award on the ocassion of National Sports Day.
The award is given to him for motivating more than 200 sports coaches in Bihar now associated with Special Olympics- Bihar and doing wonderful work for the weaker section of society.
Besides representing India as captain of Indian cycling teams for Asian & Commonwealth Games in the past, he has dedicated his coaching diplomas for uplifting weaker section of society through joyful sports from more than 25 years within country & even beyond.
Many more awards were given by to different dedicated personnel on all India basis for their merits.
