Jamshedpur, May 5: A fun filled activity ‘pick an object and speak’, power packed with tit bits on health and hygiene was organized by pre – primary segment of K.P.S Kadma on Tuesday, May 5.
The toddlers were tested on their speaking abilities and their analytical ability to link it with their daily life
through a brain storming session which was segregated into levels of Quarter final, Semi final and Finals.
The Semi final round entails picking, identifying and connecting to objects pertaining to health and hygiene.
It was then taken forward to the next level the ‘final round’ where the toddlers were judged on their speaking abilities and level of confidence.
Avani Kumari of U.K.G (B) bagged the first prize; Aaryan Gupta of U.K.G (F) was the runner-up for the event while Kanak Jha of U.K.G (F) took the third position.
Consolation prizes for students of each class were also given away were Arnab Mukherjee- U.K.G (A), Devina Kar- U.K.G (B), Pratikshya- U.K.G (C ), Ayanangshu- U.K.D (D), Soumya of U.K.G (E) and Anushka Singh of U.K.G (F) received the honours.
The judges of the event were Mrs Jatinder Kaur, the coordinator of middle school of K.P.S Kadma and
Ms. Ruchi Dubey, a senior faculty of English department of K.P.S. Kadma.
The teachers and coordinators of the pre – primary wing worked together to instill confidence in the children
and prepare them to face future.
The programme was supported by the inevitable presence of the Principal Ms. Sharmila Mukherjee and Vice
Principal Principal Ms. Harmit Pal who motivated them and helped them perform betterAlso present at the event were Coordinator Primary Ms. Almelu R, Ms. Shalini Sethi and teachers of all classes.
