Seraikela, Aug 10: Seraikela-Kharsawan deputy commissioner Anjanayelu Dodde appealed to farmers to apply for Mukhyamantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojana benefits and make the ambitious scheme successful. He was speaking to a gathering of farmers at Town Hall, Seraikela on Saturday during the live telecast of the scheme launch by Vice President Venkaiyah Naidu.
Addressing farmers, Dodde said the government had started the scheme with the view to enhance farmers� income in Jharkhand and empower them. Providing financial assistance to farmers would greatly benefit them as they would be able to purchase seeds, agricultural equipments and other necessary things, he observed.
The DC said the farmers should apply for the scheme without delay or apprehensions. The scheme would greatly benefit farmers willing to earn more by increasing their productivity.
Earlier, the DC flagged off Kisan Sarathi Rath of the district information and public relations department. The vehicle would move through all Panchayats in the district and spread public awareness on the said scheme.
