Ranchi: Additional SP of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Anand Joseph Tigga died in a road accident on way to Medininagar on the Lohardaga-Latehar border on Thursday.
He was critically injured in the mishap. Sources said Tigga was on his way to conduct raid with a police team when misfortune befell him. Near a sharp turn at Kudu More, his Tata Sumo overturned.
Tigga, who was sitting besides the driver, was injured the most among the passengers. His face and head were badly wounded. He was taken to Medical Hospital where his condition remained critical.
Doctors said he had also suffered from heart attack. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Raghubar Das condoled the death of the senior cop and expressed sympathy for his family members.
