Jamshedpur, Oct 01: Asangathit Kamgaar Congress (AKC) led by its district president Gopal Yadav burnt the effigy of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath�s effigy at the Sakchi roundabout in protest against the gang rape and murder of a young girl in Hathras. Yadav stated on the occasion, �Jungle law is prevailing in Uttar Pradesh where no woman is safe. Women and young girls are being raped and murdered and this has become a regular incident in that state. The UP police are taking the bodies of these victims under the cover of darkness and without even informing their relatives are cremating them. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should own moral responsibility for the incident and resign immediately.� The AKC protesters included Chinna Rao, Amrit Jha, Dharmendra Tiwary, Vasi Haider, Sushil Bhagat, Amit Murmu, Anand Kumar, Vicky Lohar, Nikhil Tiwary and others.
