Jamshedpur: Arya Ojha of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco, a standard III student, secured the second place in the Gita Shloka Competition organized under the aegis of ISCON on the occasion of Janmashtami.
She was the youngest participant at the event. She had recited the fourth shloka from the 18th chapter of Gita with its meaning.
All the other participants were from senior classes. Various city schools had sent their students to participate in the event.
The judges took into consideration pronunciation skill among other qualities in adjudging the winners.
