Artistes hold audience spellbound at classical music conclave

Jamshedpur, July 14: One of the oldest cultural edifices of the city, The Evening Club auditorium today hosted a conclave of classical music performed by popular local talents who left the audience spellbound with their enthralling performances. The programme, jointly organized under the aegis of The Evening Club and Jamshedpur Music Circle, the artistes who cast their magical spell included Kumari Kirti, Pradip Shil, Subroto Biswas, Sujan Chatterjee, Sangita Chatterjee, Shivani Mukhi, Ritorshi Ganguly, Sriniwas Rao and Pinaki Chakraborty.

The programme was inaugurated jointly by chief guest and Tinplate Company of India MD RN Murty, guests of honour Md Shree Leathers Shekhar Dey, Sandhya Murty, The Evening Club president Shaurojyoti Dey and Music Circle president Aniruddha Sen. The performing artistes were honoured with shawls before the commencement of the programme.

The organizing team comprised Shaurojyoti Dey, Aniruddha Sen, Sujit Roy, Subhash Bose, Satya Narayan Das, Sandip Haldar, Kunal, Abhijit Chakraborty, Abhijit Mukherjee, Sajal Dutta, Babai Sarkar, Pijush Pal, Shantanu Das, Amitabh Sen, Pradip Bhattacharjee, Anil Kumar Singh, Hara Prasad Mukherjee, Deep Kumar Mitra and Pankaj Jha.
