Article 370 abrogated to liberate Kashmiri women: Rajiv Ranjan

Jamshedpur, Oct 20: Bihar BJP spokesperson and former MLA Rajiv Ranjan Sunday said the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A was a major victory of the Indian Constitution. He said the historic decision taken by the Modi government would benefit Kashmiri women the most as they were earlier forced to face the negative impacts of Article 370 and Article 35A.

The BJP leader said the Articles removed by the government were biased against women who had to forego their Constitutional rights after marrying outsiders. He said the government had also made a historic move by criminalizing triple talaq.
