Art lovers have a gala time at Ravindra Bhavan

Jamshedpur: The second day of the Ravindra Utsava celebrations at Tagore Society, Sakchi, saw art and culture lovers take a plunge into intense artistic atmosphere as they witnessed the greatness of Kavi Guru and Nobel Laureate Ravindra Nath Tagore. A play was staged on the story �Dui Bon� authored by Tagore. Artists from Kolkata Play Makers showcased their

Thespian skills and made the set come alive as if it were all real. The story characters were felt by the audiences as they sat through the entire play riveted to their seats. The play was directed by Ram Mukhopadhyaya.

The programme was organized in two stages. Students of Tagore Society enacted a dance play Chitrangda and won accolades from the audiences. The general secretary of Tagore Society Ashish Choudhury said the ambience of Shanti Niketan was being felt at Ravindra Bhavan due to convergence of so many artists and people who appreciate art and culture.
