Jamshedpur, July 8: Srinath University’s School of Fine Arts organized the first Annual Art Exhibition, a two day event that was inaugurated on Saturday, July 8. The exhibition, organized in the University Auditorium was inaugurated by chief guest Nishith Kumar Sinha, Head of Statutory Compliance Management & Societies at Tata Steel.
The Art Exhibition presented a diverse collection of artistic work created by the students of the Department of Fine Arts at Srinath University. The display included paintings, sculptures and pottery creations. Students, faculty members, art enthusiasts and general citizens visited the art exhibition.
Nalin Chandra, HoD Fine Arts stated, “The art exhibition aims to celebrate the power of artistic expression and provide a platform for our emerging artists to share their unique perspectives with the community. Visitors can expect to be immersed in a diverse tapestry of creativity as our students have put in their hard work and artistic skills to display such creations. This exhibition has been organized to showcase their creativity and boost their confidence.”
Assisting in the coordination of the Art Exhibition were Ganesh Mahato and Neha Pandey, both Assistant Professors from the Department of Fine Arts.
Dr Govind Mahato, Vice Chancellor of Srinath University, observed, “We are thrilled to host our first Art Exhibition at our University Auditorium. Only Srinath University offers Fine Arts as a course in Jamshedpur. The students of the Fine Arts Department always astound us with their artistic talent. They have won various cultural art competitions and made our university proud. This exhibition will offer a platform to celebrate artistic talent and encourage cultural exchange within our community. We believe it will inspire and enrich the lives of all those who visit the art exhibition.” (w/gsd)
