Ranchi, Sept. 16: Art develops the mental ability of children. Feelings can be expressed through painting. By analyzing paintings, one can tell which direction the painter is heading to.
This was observed by Draupadi Murmu, governor of Jharkhand, on Friday as she felicitated winners of a painting competition.
The governor said that all children are talented and special. There is immense potential in every child. Their potentials have to be sharpened so that they can become better citizen of the nation. She appreciated Jharkhand Bal Kalyan Parishad in brushing up the hidden talent of children.
The Governor said that many physically challenged children participated in the competition which showed their bold mentality. These children are mentally sound and capable of achieving success in any field.
Principal Secretary to the Governor S. K. Satpathy, vice president of the NGO Rooplekha Prasad, Pooja Thakur, Pushpa Suvalika, Ranjana Mullick, Poonam Anand and other Council members were also present on this occasion.
