Jamshedpur Students Shine in Model Exhibition at Creative Olympiad
Jamshedpur: The 20th National Creative Olympiad concluded with great enthusiasm on Sunday at SNTI, Bistupur. Organized by the Institution of Engineers, Jamshedpur Chapter, the two-day event saw participation from 24 schools across eight states, celebrating innovation, creativity, and scientific thinking among students.

Army Public School, Guwahati emerged as the overall winner of the Olympiad. The winners were selected based on their model quality, design, responses to judges’ questions, and overall performance. DAV Public School, Jamshedpur secured the second position, while DAV Public School, Odisha claimed the third spot in the overall ranking.
In the model exhibition segment, DBMS English School, Kadma bagged the top honor in the junior category, followed by Loyola School, Bistupur. In the senior category, Kerala Public School, Kadma was declared the winner, with Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur finishing as the runner-up.

The Olympiad also featured cultural programs where Delhi Public School, Patna took first place. Manas Group of Institutions, Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand) and Yogada Satsang Mahavidyalaya, Ranchi secured second and third places respectively.

Individual brilliance was recognized with the Star Performer Awards, which went to Akshit Nandi of JVM Shyamli, Ranchi; N. Sharma of AVM ABK Girls High School, Uttar Pradesh; and Mayank Shah of Hem Sheela Model School.

“Creative Olympiad is a great platform to nurture creativity and innovation in children. It inspires them to look at things differently and come up with new ideas,” she said.
The event concluded on a high note, with students returning home inspired to explore science and innovation more deeply.
