Jamshedpur, September 11: With the city gearing up for a historic event, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, along with Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, conducted a thorough inspection of Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, Jamshedpur, in preparation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on September 15.

The event, expected to attract thousands, marks the flagging off of the much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express from Tatanagar Railway Station, as well as the launch of several key projects for the city.

Accompanying Munda and Mahto on their visit were Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishan Kaushal, and several other high-ranking officials. The delegation reviewed the arrangements for the Prime Minister’s public address, which will be held at Gopal Maidan after a roadshow through the streets of Bistupur.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit is highly anticipated as he will not only flag off the new Vande Bharat Express from Tatanagar but also inaugurate 11 Vande Bharat trains from the station. The project represents a significant advancement in the region’s rail connectivity and infrastructure. Additionally, several new development projects will be announced, aimed at boosting the economy and improving public services for the people of Jamshedpur.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will embark on a roadshow starting from near the Voltas building in Bistupur, making his way to Gopal Maidan, where he will address the public.
The roadshow is expected to draw large crowds as residents eagerly await the Prime Minister’s appearance and his series of “gifts” to the city, which may include development projects, infrastructure improvements, and new government schemes.
