Jamshedpur, March 1: Tata Steel on Wednesday launched 2 Apps in connection with Founder’s Day Celebrations 2017. The apps were launched by Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president (Corporate Services), Tata Steel. The first app concerns TSL Events and the second App is ActionBound for treasure hunt.
ActionBound for treasure hunt is an e-treasure hunt “Jamshedpur Bounty” for the citizens of Jamshedpur. This game will be played from 7 pm on 2nd March till 6 pm on 4th March. This being an e-treasure hunt, it will be played using a smart phone or a tablet and will involve interesting quizzes in the form of anagrams, trivia and will involve engaging in fun activities at various locations around the city, company sources said.
In order to play the game, the players will need to download the Actionbound app onto their smart phones or tablets from the respective app stores of Android and iOS. To start the game, players will need to look for a QR code in and around the Jubilee Park area. The players need to have data connection on their devices when starting and finishing the hunt.
“On scanning the QR code, the hunt will get downloaded onto the player’s device and can be played at their leisure over the 3 days of the game. Tata Steel wants to stress on the fact that this is not a race and players should not be in a hurry to finish the hunt and jeopardize self and public safety.
Players can pause the game at any stage and return to it at their convenience, while not exceeding the end time of the game. It is a single-player, multi-staged treasure hunt to be played and enjoyed over the span of 3 days,” sources said.
Tata Steel is also organizing similar e-treasure hunts for the employees and their families at Kolkata and Mumbai on the occasion of the 178th Birth Anniversary of the Founder. Each of the two apps can be downloaded. Both apps are available on Android Play Store and I-Store.
