Jamshedpur, August 24: On the recommendation of Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi, the Rural Works Department has approved the construction of four key roads in the Bodam, Patamda, and Jamshedpur block areas under the Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna. Patamda block MLA representative Chandrashekhar Tudu stated that the MLA had met the Chief Minister and the departmental minister during the monsoon session to push for these road projects.
The approved roads include a 3.5 km stretch from Bamangora Shiva temple to Sarjamda Shiva temple via Sopodera to EGL Chowk in the Jamshedpur block, which will be constructed at a cost of ₹2.84 crore. Additionally, a 7.5 km road from Rajabasa in Patamda to Tilaitan via Jerka will be built at a cost of ₹9.80 crore. The project also includes the construction of a 1.1 km road in Bansgarh Sabar Tola, costing ₹1.70 crore, and a 2.1 km road from Gedua to Kolabani Chadai in Bota Panchayat of Bodam block, with an estimated cost of ₹2.18 crore.
