Noamundi, June 25: A team of Jharkhand State Commission�for�Protection�of�Child Rights led by member Sanjay Mishra from Ranchi held a meeting with mines lessee management under CSR at Kiriburu on Thursday.
Addressing the officials of Mines managements, he said that in view of the development this area is very much lagging behind.
The parents are unable to admit their children in schools while most of the children suffer from malnutrition. The commission member appealed the mines lessee officials to extend their financial support for the development of the children. The meeting was attended by 23 mines lessee officials.
Thereafter the team inspected the Noamundi Tisco Camp School and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalay Noamundi. Mishra interacted with the children of Kasturba School.
He also enquired about the facilities being provided by the school. Present among others were member Dud Rajka, Child welfare samity member Sanjay Birua, Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojna Member Anup Michael , Noamundi Block development officer Amren Dang, Circle officer Ravi Kishore Ram, CDPO Laxmi Bharati, BEEO Rabindra Singh .
