Jamshedpur: Ambedkar Party of India (API) has demanded provisions for economic growth and sustainable development in the Union Budget 2015-16.
The party has submitted a shot off a memorandum to President of India through deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum.
The API has forwarded a charter of demand on ‘Charter of Rights and Duties for Union Budget 2015-16.
The charter focuses on ‘Growth, Equality and Justice’ by removing caste-based inequalities, poverty, illiteracy, and hunger. It has urged the Union Government to ensure social and economic development of the downtrodden.
The party stressed on the need of social and human development along economic development. It has also given a call for an end of caste-based socio-economic development, unemployment, hunger, illiteracy, and homelessness.
The party urged budget provisions for sustainable development of all including the poor and disadvantaged sections of society.
