Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Zest organised a debate competition in association with Tata Steel Zoological Park during the ongoing Wildlife Week celebration on Wednesday.
Wildlife Week celebration kicked off on 2nd October and will continue till 6th.
The topic for the debate contest in English and Hindi were – �Should plastic producing industries be banned?�
Students 12 schools of the city including Valley View School, Telco, Ram Krishna Mission, S.D.S.M School for Excellence, Agrico, NTTF, KPS Burmamines participated.
In Hindi debate contest first prize was won by Anuradha Kumari of Kerala Public School, Kadma followed by Gyanda Jha of KPS Gamharia and joint third prize was bagged by Mansi Singh of NTTF and Rhitik Saw of RVS Academy.
In English debate Shweta Kumari of RVS Academy won the first prize, Shalu Kumari of KPS Gamharia was second while Abhishek Das of KPS Burmamines won the third prize.
The chief guests for today�s event were PDC, DLCC Aruna Taneja and Pasam Adesara was present.
Neeta Agarwal provided full support in making the event successful. President of the club Nisha Gadia, Nidhi Adesra, Navneet Kaur were present on the occasion.
