Jamshedpur, March 21: On Monday, March 18, some anti-social elements sprinkled chili powder on a college-going girl and tried to drag her. On hearing her cries for help, locals rushed to her rescue. Later, the locals demonstrated at the Sundarnagar police station demanding protection for the girl and arrest of the miscreants. The police station OC assured protection and stated that the culprits would be brought to book within one week.
