Jamshedpur: An anti-polythene mass awareness campaign was organized at Jojobera market on Thursday by the Telco unit of Basti Vikas Samiti. It was led by the outfit president Manoj Srivastava.
The central president of Basti Vikas Samiti Khemlal Choudhary also participated in the event. Handbills carrying messages on the health hazards of polythene bags and other plastic products were distributed among the people on this occasion. People were requested to use cloth bags for shopping purpose.
The other who participated in the campaign included Ajay Singh, Akash Singh, Dinesh Singh, Manoj Srivastava, Reena Das, Renu Devi and Shyama Nand Gupta.
