Jamshedpur: A team of Tata Steel officials faced stiff resistance when it tried to remove encroachment near Bistupur Cold Storage on Tuesday. Hundreds of local residents opposed the move and refused to allow the officials to carry out demolition of their houses, sources said. Sources said the encroachers have been given an ultimatum to remove encroachment. There are around 100 houses in the locality.
